Teton Science Schools

Teton Science Schools is a group of schools in Wyoming.

They were founded in 1967. The schools enjoy a reputation as an innovative environmental education center, and the programs serve as models worldwide. Teton Science Schools’ Kelly Campus in Grand Teton National Park serves as home for the Graduate Student Program and a selection of residential education programs for youth, while the new nearly 900-acre (3.6 km2) Jackson Campus is home to the Pre-K through 12th grade Journeys School, the Teacher Learning Center, the Conservation Research Center and an array of residential education programs for school groups, families and elders. Teton Science Schools’ Wildlife Expeditions offers responsible year-round wildlife observation and natural history explorations throughout Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Structure

Teton Science Schools are a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, operating year-round in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in partnership with Grand Teton National Park and as a permittee of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
