Texas Tech University Graduate School oversees all graduate programs at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and its branch campuses. Texas Tech's first master's degree was awarded in 1928 and its first doctorate was awarded in 1953. The Graduate School was formally organized in 1954. Texas Tech University and its graduate school are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

There are 65 research centers and institutes at the University that are affiliated with the Graduate School.
Degrees offered
The Graduate School (in conjunction with Texas Tech's other Colleges) currently coordinates 103 master's degree programs and 59 doctoral programs.
