Coetzee, Barack Obama, Tim Flannery, Kate Grenville, Graeme Simsion, Peter Temple, Murray Bail, John Clarke, M. J. Hyland, Herman Koch, Lionel Shriver, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, among many others.

Company background
Text was founded in Melbourne in the early 1990s by Diana Gribble and Eric Beecher. When parent company Text Media was taken over by Fairfax Media,[2] Text entered into a joint venture with Scottish publisher Canongate. Maureen and Tony Wheeler, founders of Lonely Planet, bought Canongate's share in Text in 2011.[3]
Publishing
In 2012, Text launched a series of Australian classics,[4] republishing out of print works that had been, for the most part, lost to literary history.[5]
