Thaqeb

The Thaqeb, Persian for Saturn, is an Iranian naval missile. It is capable of being fired from both underwater and the surface, after which it flies towards its target.

The new missile was first demonstrated in a publicly broadcast test that took place during a set of large-scale military exercises that Iran has been holding since August 19, 2006.

The Iranian naval commander, Adm. Sajjad Kouchaki, said the Thaqeb could be fired from any vessel, not just submarines. He called it a "long-range" missile but did not specify how far it could fly.
