Thaspium is a genus of flowering plants in the Apiaceae (parsley or carrot family). A common name for the various Thaspium species is meadowparsnip[2] or meadow-parsip.

There are five accepted Thaspium species and one accepted variety:[1]
- Thaspium barbinode (Michx.) Nutt. – hairyjoint meadowparsnip[3]
- Thaspium chapmanii (J.M. Coult. & Rose) Small – hairy meadow-parsnip[4]
- Thaspium cordatum (Walter) Torr. & A. Gray
- Basionym: Smyrnium cordatum Walter[6]
- Thaspium pinnatifidum (Buckley) A. Gray – cutleaf meadowparsnip[7]
- Basionym: Zizia pinnatifida Buckley
- Thaspium trifoliatum (L.) A. Gray – purple meadowparsnip[8]
- Variety: Thaspium trifoliatum var. aureum (Nutt.) Britton
Species and varieties that were at one time, but not currently accepted as Thaspium include:
- Thaspium trifoliatum var. apterum A. Gray — heart-leaved golden alexanders[9]
