The 15th is a song from the 1979 album 154 by the English rock band Wire. It was written by Colin Newman.
The British electronic band Ladytron included "The 15th" on the mix compilation Softcore Jukebox.

The electroclash band Fischerspooner covered "The 15th" as the second single from its 2001 debut album #1.

The Jay Reatard project Angry Angles covered the song on their Apparent-Transparent 7". Additionally, Beck has played the song live a couple of times.[2] French coldwave band Little Nemo covered the song on their 1990 EP "Cadavres Exquis". For the Wire tribute album Whore, the song was recorded by Mike Watt. Monks of Doom covered the song on their 2006 album, "What's Left For Kicks?". Australian psichedelic-garage Band "Splashh" covered the song in 2014.
