The Abdication is a 1974 British historical drama film directed by Anthony Harvey and starring Peter Finch, Liv Ullmann, Cyril Cusack, Graham Crowden and James Faulkner.[1] The film's score was composed by Nino Rota.
The plot of the film has the abdicated Christina, Queen of Sweden arriving in the Vatican and falling in love with a cardinal.
