The Aim is an EP by New Zealand band Bailter Space, released in 1992.[1] It was their first U.S. release, and was a compilation of two vinyl singles.
Song information
Tracks one and two were recorded in June 1991 in New York, then released as a 7" single on Clawfist Records. Tracks three and four were recorded at Writhe in Wellington, New Zealand in November 1991; they were released as a separate 7", also on Clawfist Records. Both 7"s had identical star-themed cover art, but the former was in red on black, the latter in green on black.
- "The Aim" is a slower-paced, re-recorded version of the band's 1987 song "Our Aim."
- "We Know" is an embryonic version of "Be On Time" from their forthcoming album Robot World.
- "The Unseen" later surfaced on Robot World in slightly different, and longer, form as "Get Lost."
All songs were written by Bailter Space. Cover design and photography by John Halvorsen.
