The Alps were an English band from Greenwich, London. They released five singles and one album so far, with the sixth single 'Obstacle Race' due for release January 2009. The Alps debut album 'Something I Mih Regret' released on 10 March 2008. The album was produced by Dave Allen (producer of The Cure's 'Disintegration', 'Wish', and 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me'). The Alps raised £21,000 from their fans and the SliceThePie website and were the first artist to release an album through SliceThePie.
The Alps own their own record label 'Elusive Music', are self managed and oversee most of their business internally.
The Alps have toured extensively in recent years with highlights including Reading Festival in 2005 and Italy 2006, Spain 2008.
In 2009 Daniel, Sam and Dan formed the Folk punk band Skinny Lister
