The Basement Recordings II
The Basement Recordings II is a demo release by Canadian singer-songwriter Alexz Johnson and her brother, Brendan Johnson, serving as a sequel to the The Basement Recordings demo, released in 2011.
Development
The Basement Recordings II consists of demo material recorded by Johnson that has not made its way to a release. The album was announced on Christmas Day 2011[1] and its release was later set for May 1, 2012.[2] It is the sequel album to The Basement Recordings.[3]

Sequel
In December 2012 Brendan Johnson hinted via Twitter that there would be a third installment to The Basement Recordings series. On January 14, 2013, Alexz Johnson confirmed the release of the album. The Basement Recordings III was later released on February 22, 2013.[4]
