Plot
The film is a story about a man named Will (Mathew Newton), a young stockbroker, who makes an ego-fueled bet with his wealthy friend Angus (Aden Young) about who can make the most money in 90 days. Will's desperation to prove himself turns the betting game into an obsession which forces him to measure the cost of his ambition against the true value of love.
The bet is a morality tale, set in the city of Sydney, about a character who is forced to confront the perils of ego, the consequences of ambition and the value of love and life.
