The British Journal of Politics and International Relations is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Political Studies Association.[1] The journal was established in 1999 after a competitive process in which the Department of Political Science and International Studies at The University of Birmingham was successful. The Journal's Editorial Team is currently based at the University of Edinburgh [1] As of February 2015, its editors-in-chief are John Peterson and Alan Convery.[2] According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 1.566, ranking it 32nd out of 161 journals in the category "Political Science" and 16th out of 85 journals in the category "International Relations".[3]
