The Dardanelles is a Newfoundland independent folk/celtic music band from St. John's, [Newfoundland]. Originally forming in 2009 by Tom Power (musician), The Dardanelles have developed a fan base following through their festival tours. They are known for their unique take on traditional folk music, appealing to younger audiences as well as old.[1]
The band has released two full length studio albums and has played in national festivals including the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival as well as festivals in Toronto and the United States.[2]
