The Designer is a British reality television series in which 11- to 16-year-olds compete for the chance to win their very own designer clothing company with help from business entrepreneur Laird Turnpenny.[2] Some runners-up will also be awarded prizes, with a select few joining one of Laird Turnpenny's companies.[3]
In the new series, the prize has changed to a designer clothing company,[4] in which Laird Turnpenny will take no profit.
The next series is currently scheduled to be held on entertainmentHD this autumn, with repeats on HDplayer.[5]
