Josh "The Fat Jew" Ostrovsky is an American pop-culture commentator and model.[1]

Early life

Born on Manhattan's Upper West Side, Ostrovsky attended Trevor Day School, Skidmore College, New York University and the State University of New York at Albany, where he studied journalism.

Career

Early in his career, Ostrovsky worked on the E! Channel and was a member of the rap group Team Facelift.

He has contributed to Bloomberg Television and promoted Virgin Mobile, Burger King, Bud Light and Beats Electronics. In 2015, he launched the wine brand White Girl Rosé.[2] He hosted a radio show on Apple Music Beats 1 called "Money, Pizza, Respect" and published a book of the same name in 2015.

He is a plus-size model and has appeared in the video for DNCE's "Cake by the Ocean" and in Inked[3] magazine, recreating poses from notable photo-shoots.[4]

Plagiarism

Following a 2015 controversy, Ostrovsky admitted to the unauthorized use of several comedians' jokes.[5][6][7]
