The Golden Wedding

"The Golden Wedding" (La Cinquantaine) is a piece of music which was composed by Jean Gabriel Marie in 1887. It was a hit for Woody Herman and his orchestra in 1940. They played a swing arrangement of the work by James "Jiggs" Noble, which became a jazz standard. [1]
