Trivia
- When songwriter Grant Cunningham was writing the lyrics to "The Great Divide" on his computer, he had originally meant to type out the phrase "there's a bridge to cross the great divide," but when he printed the song out, it came out as "there's a cross to bridge the great divide." It was a typo, but the girls and John Mays loved what it said and kept it.
- The girls had had a fight right before they went into the studio to cut "Gather At The River." As they sang through the song, the lyrics to the first line spoke to them ("Sometimes we don't see eye to eye / We don't agree, we don't know why"), and they forgave each other and got on with it. At the time, Terry had moved back to Little Rock, AR, and the other members lived in suburban Nashville. Shelley and Heather were roommates.
- The video to "Gather At The River" was shot in Oklahoma in 105 degree weather. Everyone's favorite scene was, of course, the water scene.
- The lead vocal by Shelley on "God Is With Us" is her scratch vocal.
- There is a very low part on the first verse of "Love Like No Other," and the producers were not happy with the way it was sounding, so they sent vocal producer Cheryl Rogers to go in and sing that bit with them.
- Shelley had participated in the writing of one cut on the album, a rarity in that a member had participated in writing on an album; it is the only time it has happened in the group's history. Heather later participated in the writing of a cut on a Truth album in 1998 along with 4Him's Marty Mageehee. (That group was where 4Him, and future Point of Grace husband and wife members Dana and Leigh Cappillino started.)
- After Heather's departure in 2008, the group began performing "The Great Divide" as part of a medley along with "Keep The Candle Burning."
- The music video for "Dying to Reach You" includes Terry's husband Chris Jones in the background.
