The Great War Symphony

The Great War Symphony is an upcoming work by the British composer Patrick Hawes due to be premiered in 2018.

It is a choral symphony in four movements with each movement depicting a year of the First World War.

The complete work will be premiered in 2018 as part of the WWI commemorations to mark the end of the centenary and will involve community choirs and musicians from across the UK.[1]
