The Gulf (play)
The Gulf is a play by American playwright Audrey Cefaly. A one-act version was performed in 2010,[1] and a full length version is to premiere at Signature Theatre, Arlington, Virginia in September 2016.[2] The play takes place on a fishing boat in the Alabamia Ten-saw Delta.
It was one of six winning plays from 1400 entries in the 2015 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival.[3]
Characters
- Kendra: A loner. Scrappy, dark, brutish and volatile.
- Betty: An optimist. A thinker. Restless and tender Hearted.
