The Hit (a.k.a. The Only Way Was Essex) is an upcoming 2016 United Kingdom crime drama that directed by Brad Wall, who co-wrote the script with Micky Edwards and Tanya Louise Wall, based upon the 1995 Rettendon murders.[1][2]

Production

When casting calls went out, the film was expected to begin shooting in November 2014,.[3] but filming took place May through June of 2015 on locations near Essex.[4]
