The Invisible Bird is the third album released by Australian singer-songwriter, Gyan. The album contains tracks from a project entitled Suburban Opera that Gyan recorded with U.S. producer Desmond Child in 2000/2001. The album was officially released by Gyan in 2003, which marked a decade since her previous album.

The album contains "Don't Hide Your Wild Away", which was released as a promo-only single, and Gyan's version of "Love Is An Army", which was later covered by LeAnn Rimes.

The album is exclusively available from Gyan's website and Sheeba and features cover art by Australian artist Michelle Dawson. The download version features the bonus track of 'Life's Great If You Don't Weaken' which had previously been available on the soundtrack to the Australian film, The Nugget.
