Iranian.com is a website that hosts blogs, news, and commentaries by and for the Iranian diaspora.[2][3] Founder Jahanshah Javid started the website because journalists and the media are assiduously censored in Iran.
When Javid started the website in 1995, he called it The Iranian (after The New Yorker).[4] It has been called Iranian.com since 2004.[4]
