The Johnstown Flood is a 1989 American short documentary film directed by Charles Guggenheim about the Johnstown Flood. It won the Academy Award at the 62nd Academy Awards for Documentary Short Subject.[1]

Release history

There are two versions of this video. A version of 60 minutes utilizes more extensive pictures of the lake. These pictures were discovered after the video had been released but were added in to a second video. The PBS version is the longer video and more complete than the 30 minute video that is available at the flood museum. The extended version does not appear to be available anywhere.
