John Elliott, known by his stage and recording name The Little Unsaid, is an English songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has self-released three albums and one EP, the latter with distribution from Proper Music Distribution,[1] and is best known for combining folk, electronica and orchestral arrangements for strings.[2]

Elliott has toured the UK with American singer-songwriter Catherine Feeny,[3] supported the likes of Rozi Plain,[4] This is the Kit,[5] and Rue Royale,[6] and performed at major UK festivals including Glastonbury,[7] Secret Garden Party, Larmer Tree[8] and Beautiful Days.[9]

In September 2015 a crowd-funding campaign was completed using Pledge Music to finance the recording and release of the album Fisher King.[10] The album was recorded in various locations in London, and was mixed by Graeme Stewart, producer of Jonny Greenwood's solo work and film music.[11] The leading single from the album 'Can We Hear It?' was mixed by Mark Gardener of the shoegaze band Ride, during breaks from the band's 2015 world tour.[11]

Elliott has written film scores for several short films including The Boy and the Bus (2014)[12] and Looking After Edward (2011).[13] In May 2011 he wrote and recorded original music for a theatre production of The Aliens at Bristol Old Vic.[14]
