The Misery Index: Notes from the Plague Years is an album by Delaware band Boysetsfire. It is the first album of new releases on Equal Vision Records and the band's last album before a hiatus lasting 3 years. Its previous release, Before the Eulogy, was an album of B-sides and rarities.
The hidden track that comes after "A Far Cry" is a slower and melodic version of the song "Still Waiting For The Punchline" from After the Eulogy.
The album was also released as a limited edition C.D./D.V.D. through Burning Heart Records/Epitaph Europe. The D.V.D. is titled 'Notes From The Underground', and runs for a total of 85 minutes 40 seconds.
It was released on March 14th 2014 through End Hits Records on Vinyl.
