The Movie Experience
The Movie Experience is a small chain of southern California movie theaters founded in 1918. The theaters are distinguished by often screening classic and art house films.
Locations
- The Movie Experience in San Luis Obispo.
- The Movie Experience 18 at The Meadowlands (Mall) in East Rutherford (scheduled to open in 2010-11). (Never opened, at least with The Movie Experience)
Screening Room Classics Series
In the 1990s the Movie Experience chain began offering a series of classic movies for viewers. The selection process for the screened films involves voting by the patrons of the theater.
