The MySpace Transmissions

The MySpace Transmissions are a series of digital EPs recorded for MySpace Music. The series was launched on December 4, 2007 with James Blunt as the first featured artist. Each "Transmission" features one artist or group and has several components:

The MySpace Transmissions are similar in concept to the Peel Sessions series from the UK. The majority of the songs are "live in studio" re-recordings of previously released (or soon-to-be-released) album tracks, often with a previously unreleased song, such as a cover version, included for good measure.
