The Nation's Favourite... is a British documentary series, celebrating music by a particular artist or theme. Since the show began in 2010 it has been narrated by various TV stars including Liza Tarbuck, Fearne Cotton, Amanda Holden and Kate Thornton[1][2] The programme has celebrated bands and singers including ABBA, the Beatles, the Bee Gees, Elvis Presley and Queen.
ITV viewers were able to vote for their favourite song in the category through the ITV website.[3] Viewers are usually given a few months to vote with the winner being announced at the end of each show.
To date, 16 episodes have been shown with a variety of celebrity narrators including Stephen Mulhern, David Walliams, Alison Steadman, Victoria Wood, Zoë Ball, Matt Lucas, Craig Charles, Rufus Hound, Liza Tarbuck, Fearne Cotton, Amanda Holden and Kate Thornton.
Most episodes are 90 minutes in length, with a few exceptions. For example, The Nation's Favourite Disney Song (2015) was 60 minutes including the advertisement breaks.
Each episode features a number of celebrities who talk about the songs featured in the show, as well as record producers and the singers themselves.
