The Noise Made by People is the debut studio album by British indie electronic band Broadcast. It was released on 20 March 2000 by Warp Records to critical acclaim.[1]

The music online magazine Pitchfork Media placed The Noise Made by People at number 177 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s.[8] "Echo's Answer", the first single released from the album, was also featured at number 178 on Pitchfork Media's list of top 200 tracks of the 1990s.[9]
