The Notorious Cleopatra is a grossly inaccurate sexploitation film, made in 1970 by Harry Novak. In this version Cleopatra is stabbed to death in her tub by Mark Antony.

This film has little relation to history, instead it is farce that completely misportrays actual events. Caesar is shown as a fat drunken slob who dispatches Mark Antony to bring Cleopatra, played by Sonora, back to Rome. Cleopatra in disguise with her servant visits Rome and sneaks into one of Caesar's orgies. Later Mark Anthony falls under Cleopatra's spell, murders Cesear and later in a jealous rage murders Cleopatra in her bath. He then commits suicide.

This movie is available from Something Weird Video on a DVD with The Secret Sex Lives of Romeo and Juliet (1969).
