The film was nominated for three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Music for a Miniseries or a Special (Dramatic Underscore), Outstanding Sound Editing for a Miniseries for a Special, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Drama Miniseries or Special. Stephen Grubbs also won the Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Television Long Form - Dialogue & ADR
