"The One" is the sixth and final studio-release single from American rap metal artist Deuce. The song was initially released on The Two Thousand Eight EP, where it was the lead single.[2][3] However, it was modified once in 2010 with added instruments and a chorus at the start. Finally, it was modified once more for the Nine Lives album, where it featured additional production and mixing by Ben Grosse.[4] This version was released as the album's final single on February 14, 2013. It is now his most viewed video on YouTube with over 5 million views, surpassing "America" in 2015.[5] The music video was directed by James Jou.

Speaking of the song, Deuce noted that with it he felt that "through my music, I could do so much".[6]
