The Opus is an American instrumental hip hop duo from Chicago, Illinois.[1] It consists of The Isle of Weight and Mr. Echoes,[2] and is best known for the production work on Rubberoom's Architechnology.[3] The duo was described by Allmusic as "two of the most brilliant beatmakers working in hip-hop circa 2003."[4]
