The Real is a Daytime Emmy Award nominated American talk show that is hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon, Tamar Braxton, and Loni Love.[1] The series premiered as a three-week trial run on July 15, 2013, and aired in seven Fox owned markets: New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Phoenix, Houston, and Tampa.[2][3]

On October 31, 2013, it was announced that The Real has been green-lit for a national syndicated launch and it premiered on September 15, 2014,[4] with reruns airing on BET.[5] On February 10, 2015, Warner Brothers announced that the show has been renewed for a second season.

The show celebrated its 100th episode on February 24, 2015. On October 29, 2015, it was announced that The Real will be renewed until 2018 for two more seasons.
