The Trend is an entertainment show that premiered in 2012 on NTV (Kenya). It was initially hosted by anchor, James Smart^[4] till December 2012. Larry Madowo presently hosts the show.

NTV (Kenya) confirmed that they would air The Trend from 6 April, 2012. It was primetime on Friday, 10PM. From March, 2015 it aired from 8PM due to high ratings occupying what was Mali timeslot after its finale.

Reruns are aired on Sundays at 1:30PM.
