The Trouble with Grandpa (also known as Grandpa's Day) is a 1981 American syndicated television special starring Meg Tilly and Elisha Cook, Jr. and produced by Paulist Productions. It was broadcast in the United States as a presentation of "Capital Cities Family Theatre" in March 1981.[1]

Synopsis

The relationship between Dorie (Meg Tilly), a 17-year-old girl and her 70-year-old grandfather (Elisha Cook, Jr.) – two lonely people, both dependent upon each other – and both afraid of facing the future.
