The Wash is a 2001 soundtrack album followed by the movie The Wash, released on November 6, 2001. The album was produced by multi-platinum producer Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. It was Dr. Dre's first compilation soundtrack album.

Reception

Singles off the album include "The Wash" and "Bad Intentions", charting in the Billboard Hot 100 (peaking at #1 and #1 on the U.S. Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart), while the album itself peaked at #1 in the Billboard 200 with its 785,000 units moved, achieving gold status. The recording won the 2002 Stony Award for Best Soundtrack.
