The Young Women's Leadership School of Queens

The Young Women's Leadership School of Queens (TYWLS) is a public, girls high school and middle school located in Jamaica, Queens, New York City.[1] The school is administered by the New York City Department of Education. The principal is Mala Panday and the assistant principal is Jennifer Pineda. The school has an Advisory, a class for individual talking and sharing feelings. In this class, students are free to speak their minds confidentially.
There are four other schools in New York City with the title Young Women's Leadership School, in Harlem, Brooklyn, Astoria, Queens, and The Bronx. The school in Harlem is the charter school.[1]
