The salt district

The SALT District is located in the Near Westside neighborhood of Syracuse, NY. The neighborhood is the focus of a number of community revitalization efforts directed by the Near Westside Initiative, a 501(c)3[1] not-for-profit organization supported by Syracuse University.[2] The acronym SALT, which references Syracuse's nickname,[3] stands for "Syracuse, Art, Literacy, Technology".[4]
