- Theagenes of Patras, a Cynic philosopher of the 2nd century
- Theagenes (historian) of unknown date
- Theagenes (patrician), an Athenian politician of the 5th century
- Theagenes, last commander of the Theban Sacred Band, who died at the Battle of Chaeronea in 338 BC
