Theo Paul Doropoulos (born 25 April 1985) is an Australian cricketer of Greek origin currently listed with the Adelaide Strikers. He previously played for South Australia and Western Australia.

Career

Doropoulos has previously represented Australia at Under 19 level, Western Australia at both Under 17's and Under 19's and the South Shields Cricket Club in the English North East Premier League.[1] He is a right-handed batsman and bowls right arm fast-medium. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Warriors in January 2007 and his first-class cricket and domestic limited overs cricket debuts in November 2007.

Doropoulos holds the record for the highest score in an Under 19 One Day International. Against England in 2003, he smashed 179 not out, which came off 155 balls, and included 21 fours and three sixes.[2]

Doropoulos was a substitute fielder for Australia in the 3rd Test against West Indies in 2009/10 and took a catch to get the 9th wicket.

In June 2011, after being dropped from Western Australia's squad, Doropoulos signed with South Australia.[3]
