The pinkfoot goliath (also referred to as the pinktoe goliath) is a species of tarantula native to Venezuela, and is a close relative of Theraphosa blondi.

Theraphosa apophysis will grow to be similar in size to Theraphosa blondi (some enthusiasts indicate that it will grow to be larger[1]), and is similar in appearance except for a subtle pink shading at the end of each leg. The color is far more pronounced as a hatchling, and will fade as it molts.

Theraphosa apophysis is considered to be a difficult tarantula to care for and maintain, and is therefore not recommended for beginners.[1]
