Thermitase (EC 3.4.21.66, thermophilic Streptomyces serine proteinase, Thermoactinomyces vulgaris serine proteinase) is an enzyme.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
