It was released as a single in 1970.[1] This was their last single before they split in the same year. It charted #50 on the US charts and #35 on the Canadian chart.
It was covered a few times, but the most successful version was done by Donna Summer in 1994.
Like most of the other studio tracks recorded by Eric Burdon & War, the song was banned from YouTube in the early years.
