This I Believe (TV series)

This I Believe was an early Australian television series. Broadcast 5 nights a week on Sydney station ATN-7, it debuted 3 December 1956 (on ATN's second day of programming). It was a 15-minute series in which Eric Baume would provide a commentary on current world events.[1] The series ended around July 1958. If TV listings in the Sydney Morning Herald are correct, it appears the last few episodes aired in an 11-minute time-slot.[2]

This I Believe was also a radio series with Baume, which debuted before the TV series.

An episode of the series may be held as a 16mm kinescope recording by the National Film and Sound Archive.[3]
