Thomas Foster (painter)
Thomas Foster (1798 – 1826) was an Irish portrait painter. He came to England early, and entered the schools of the Royal Academy, where he exhibited from 1819 to 1825. He died by his own hand in 1826. Amongst his portraits are:
- Miss Tree.
- Right Hon. John Wilson Croker.
- Sir Henry Bishop, the composer.
