Thomas Heeremans
Thomas Heeremans (1641–1694) was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter.
Biography
Heeremans was born and died in Haarlem. According to the RKD he was previously called Frederik Hendrik Mans, probably because he signed his name "THMANS" with the "THM" together, leading dealers to assume his name was F.H. Mans.[1] He became a member of the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke in 1664, where he was a pupil of Caesar van Everdingen.[1] He is primarily known for his cityscapes.
