Thor Helland (born 10 December 1936 in Sørfold, Nordland) was a Norwegian long-distance runner who specialized in the 5000 metres.
At the 1964 Summer Olympics he finished eighth in the 5000 m final in 13:57.0 minutes.[1] He became Norwegian champion in the years 1965-1967. He represented the club IL i BUL.[2]
His personal best time was 13:37.4 minutes, achieved in June 1965 in Helsinki.[3]
