Through the Woods is an upcoming video game developed by Antagonist.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Plot
A mother searches through a forest in Norway for her missing son. The story is heavily influenced by Norse mythology. Her son has been kidnapped by a mysterious being called Old Erik, who she wants to kill.[4]
Gameplay
The game will feature dynamic lighting which will play tricks on the player. The sound will also deceive the player. As the player explores the woods they will find many hidden caves and passageways containing secrets.
Development
The game is being developed by the Norwegian studio Antagonist.[7] The game was first conceived in 2009, and production began in 2013. It won the "Sound of the Year" award at the Norwegian GAME Awards, 19 February 2015.[2] The game has been greenlit by the Steam Community.[3]
