Thyrosticta bruneata is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is native to Madagascar.[1]
The male of this species has a wingspan of 18mm, the female of 22mm. The forewings are dark brown, with one ochreous-yellow post basale spot, another whitish spot and 2 small whitish ante-marginal spots. . Hindwings are uniformously ochreous-yellow without external border[2]
